One of the most popular parts of Chesil Beach for fishing. The car park is right on the beach and either side of this the fishing is over clean ground. Spider crabs can be a pain here during the spring and early summer, but the fishing is generally good, with some nice catches of Plaice and Rays in the spring, Bass and Mackerel through the summer. Cod and Whiting are caught through the winter.
This venue has public toilets and a Cafe.
There is a chance of rouge waves, even on relatively calm days, so set up back from the high tide mark. There can be an under tow, so keeping back from the water is wise.
