Seatown Beach

A popular beach during the summer months for Mackerel, Bass and Smooth hounds.

It is a fairly deep water mark, that can be fished at any tide. Between April-July it can produce some large rays. The car park is a very short walk from the beach, but it is locked at night, so always check the sign to see what time it will be closed. For the angler that doesn’t mind a walk, there is some great fishing to be had at the base of ‘Golden Cap’ cliffs to the west of this beach. This area offers some great lure fishing for Bass and larger baits can produce good sized Bull Huss and Conger.
