Ragworm are best stored in either vermiculite or sea-peat, in a tray lined with dry newspaper. Ideal temperature is around 10 degrees C. Change paper daily and remove any dead worms before they go mushy, as any good worms touching the mushy worms will also die.

When fishing, keep worms out of direct sunlight or rain.

Well kept worms can last anywhere up to a week, but they’re best used as soon as possible after purchase.
