This venue is at the Eastern end of the Chesil Beach. It is a deep water mark that fishes well throughout most of the year, and is a great venue if you want to target different species. through the Summer months Bream, Mackerel, Wrasse, Gurnard, Dogfish, Pout, Pollack, Garfish, Trigger fish, Red Mullet and many more can be found here.
Through the winter the target turns to Cod and Whiting, with many local anglers preferring this end of Chesil beach to target the Cod. There is also a Wreck just 100 or so yards from the shoreline at this venue, which probably draws in many of the species that are present here.
The Seabed is quite mixed along this stretch of beach and in places very snaggy.
There is a car park close by, but walking over the shingle can be hard going.
